Llenwi workshop with Livi Wilmore

Conwy Libraries - Tuesday 28 May, 13:00 to Thursday 30 May, 19:00

Hero object - an introduction to 3D sculpting & storytelling

Livi Wilmore is a welsh digital artist who uses immersive technology to tell unique stories and bring magic to the mundane. In this intro to digital 3D sculpting workshop, participants will be shown how to sculpt a ‘hero object’ using Nomad sculpt on iPads provided- a tool with a free web-based counterpart at the basis of creating assets for animated films, game development, 3D printing and countless other artistic outcomes.

What’s a hero object you say?

A ‘hero object’ is a seemingly mundane object at the centre of a story. This could be a faded mug at your best friend’s house which reminds you of weekly catch-ups, or a rock found on the from you thought looked a bit like your dog!

We want to gather your unique stories of the local area to inform our interactive murals with personality at the centre.

Workshop suitable for all ages.
